DESCRIPTION:\nWhat Do Comparable Sales, Value Determination, and Tax Court Have in Common?” – The focus of the presentation will be on the background of The Estate of Kollsman v Commissioner case along with the 9th Circuit Court ruling focusing on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). \n \nAbout Tim Luke, CAI, BAS, MPPA, ISA-AM \n \nTim Luke joined Hindman Appraisals in 2021 and has over 35 years of experience in the auction and appraisal industry. Luke began his career at Christie’s Auction House in New York, NY, where he worked for seven years and served as Director of the Collectibles Department and Auctioneer.  After Christie’s, Luke established and was President of his own auction, appraisal, and events business, TreasureQuest Group, Inc., in South Florida, for 20 years.
