As generational differences within families shift expectations for estate planning attorneys, there is a greater opportunity for a facilitated meeting to ensure families achieves the most efficient and effective outcome for their estate transition.\n \nWith training, experience and education in conflict resolution and elder mediation and her professional legal background, Rachel Monaco-Wilcox helps resolve situations facing aging individuals, their families and caretakers, and the systems that support and interact with them. She has developed a course on Elder Mediation for the Winnebago Conflict Resolution Center and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, School of Continuing Education and is a frequent presenter on this topic both locally and nationally. She is also a member of Wisconsin Association of Mediators, the Association for Conflict Resolution; Elder Decision Making and Conflict Resolution, the Association for Women Lawyers, the Wisconsin State Bar, and the American Bar Association and was a Board Member, Wisconsin State Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution Section from 2010 – 2012. In 2015, Rachel was awarded the Wisconsin Association of Mediator’s Presidents Award for significant contributions to the field of mediation.\n \nIn addition to her work on mediation, Rachel has been Chair and Assistant Professor at Mount Mary University.
