The Effective Use of Mediation in Estate Matters
Please join us to discuss a topic that is always relevant: the effective use of mediation in estate matters. Chuck Blumenfeld will examine historical precedents, the current ADR climate, and methods that can be utilized to prepare for and hopefully prevent conflict in the estate process. The focus will be on the potential use of mediation in planning, administration, and the resolution of trust and estate disputes.
About our speaker:
Chuck has been a trial attorney for his entire career, starting as a prosecutor and later serving as a Municipal Judge. For the past 20 years he has been a partner with the litigation and intellectual property law firm Blumenfield & Shereff, LLP. Chuck has handled a variety of trial and appellate matters including personal injury, product liability, criminal defense, family law, real estate, construction claims, labor and employment, intellectual property, professional discipline and ethics matters. He received his mediation training at the Northwestern University School of Professional Studies.
