Responsible Investing seeks to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) based factors in investment processes to mitigate risk. Today, ESG Investing represents 20% of domestically invested assets and is growing at a 33% rate over the last 4-years driven by generational wealth transfer. With investor demand rising and corporate transparency becoming the standard, ESG investments are shaping the new market. As a fiduciary, gain perspective on how your fiduciary responsibility can be impacted by the desire of clients to direct their investment advisors to follow responsible investing parameters.
